About this Collection:
This smaller collection is inspired by cozy nights out. The lights are low, there’s jazz playing in the background, there’s a drink in your hand that comes in an oddly specific glass, the folks at the next table have their heads bent towards each other in a conspiratorial hush - no one wants to break the spell of the evening.
I didn’t actually take this reference photo. The actual photo that inspired this piece comes from Adam’s trip to Japan this past summer. Despite being on a trip of a lifetime with some of his closest friends, every day he sent me photos in real time of his adventures. When this photo came through, I knew from the calm and proud look on this woman’s face that I was going to create a painting from that composition. While technically not an evening photo - apparently, it was sushi for breakfast - the ambiance and lack of natural light give the scene a timeless quality.
Materials/Presentation
This original artwork was painting using acrylic paint on a 1.5” thick, archival canvas. The edges remain white and unframed.
Shipping/Handling
For local collectors (Chicagoland area), pickup is available. If you select this option, we’ll work together to arrange a date/time.

Because this is original artwork, all sales are final. As the artist, Sydney Nogle, I own the copyright and reproduction rights to this artwork. While I photograph my work in natural light, please be aware that variations may occur between your screen and the actual painting - especially when neon colors are used. Questions about anything? Let me know here.
