My work centers on the Currency of Attention: how looking, or not looking, shapes what matters. Using acrylic on canvas, I return to spaces and objects that are easy to overlook: produce resting on rumpled tea towel, city streets emptied of their inhabitants, landscapes that feel left behind.

Color becomes a way of holding attention. Vivid, almost insistent. While the absence of figures allows a sense of solitude to permeate. These are places without an obvious narrative, where nothing is happening and yet everything is present.

In slowing down the act of looking, I’m interested in what emerges: the dignity of the mundane, the weight of emptiness, and the possibility that attention itself can transform the overlooked into something essential.
