Fly Me to the Moon 12x12"

$400.00

About this Collection:

This smaller collection is inspired by cozy nights out. The lights are low, there’s jazz playing in the background, there’s a drink in your hand that comes in an oddly specific glass, the folks at the next table have their heads bent towards each other in a conspiratorial hush - no one wants to break the spell of the evening.

The actual reference photo that inspired this piece comes from the historic Petterinos in downtown Chicago, across from the Chicago Theatre. The walls are lined with old caricatures of celebrities, the booths are a sultry dark red, and the atmosphere is quietly buzzing with anticipation as many of the patrons are having a pre-show cocktail. Personally, I got to see Nate Bargatze’s stand-up special later that night, where I spent most of the evening sobbing from laughing so hard.

Materials/Presentation

This original artwork was painting using acrylic paint on a 1.5” thick, archival canvas. The edges remain white and unframed.

Shipping/Handling

For local collectors (Chicagoland area), pickup is available. If you select this option, we’ll work together to arrange a date/time.

Shipping is free, and available within the 48 contiguous United States. Your piece will ship out within a week of purchase via UPS. It should arrive roughly a week after it departs the studio. Please no PO Boxes.

Note

Because this is original artwork, all sales are final. As the artist, Sydney Nogle, I own the copyright and reproduction rights to this artwork. While I photograph my work in natural light, please be aware that variations may occur between your screen and the actual painting - especially when neon colors are used. Questions about anything? Let me know here.
